NQAD – See what others can’t
The ultra-sensitive, universal NQAD TM presents a major advancement in high performance liquid chromatography detection capability.
The NQAD line of detectors for HPLC, UHPLC and SFC separations measure semi-volatile and nonvolatile analytes. The unique NQAD sees what others can’t!
Compared to conventional aerosol based detectors, only the NQAD incorporates patented Water Condensation Particle Counting (WCPC) technology which improves sensitivity, linearity, stability, and precision. It is truly a new and completely different kind of aerosol-based detector for HPLC. (WCPC technology is well-known and widely used in other scientific fields with an excellent track record in climate research and nanoparticle technology.)
Compared to other aerosol-based detectors, the NQAD shows less baseline drift and background detector noise whilst offering superior sensitivity for most analytes.
The unique NQAD combine the versatility and performance required for analytical R&D with the reproducibility needed for QA/QC. The stability and ruggedness combines with the small footprint making the detectors ideal for any testing in a demanding lab environment. They can be used for virtually any compound, industry or application, as noted in Drug Discovery & Development (2010).
Typical compounds include: drug compounds, proteins, polymers, peptides, lipids, steroids, carbohydrates, ions
Typical applications include: impurity analysis, method transfer, excipient characterization, degradation product analysis, cleaning validations, academic research, detecting compounds that lack a chromophore
Typical industries include: pharmaceuticals, industrial chemicals, specialty chemicals, food and beverage, nutriceutical, life sciences, agricultural chemicals, biofuels
The NQAD line of detectors measures analytes that do not contain a chromosphere or fluorophore without the need for cumbersome derivatization steps. Direct detection of compounds that are not good UV absorbers saves a significant amount of time and expense.
