SD Myers Grows Its Core Business Through Robotic Headspace Autosamplers

PROBLEM

In 2008 S.D. Myers, Inc., a family-owned firm started by Stanley Myers in 1965, now a multimillion dollar company, needed to automate its existing operation due to increased demand of its core transformer oil testing and analysis business.

SOLUTION

In late 2008, S.D. Myers, Inc. acquired one HT200H Autosampler through Overbrook Scientific for their Tallmadge, Ohio facility. Increased demand and the success of the decision to automate some operational aspects required the purchase of three additional HT200H Headspace Autosamplers from Overbrook Scientific. Overbrook Scientific provided installation for all four of S.D. Myers, Inc’s HT200H Headspace Autosamplers
