Scientific Instrument and Service Sales Account Manager
Overbrook Scientific, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated; results oriented Sales Account Manager to work in a highly competitive, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Overbrook Scientific, Inc. sells innovative analytical and life science instrumentation and provides multi-platform contract maintenance and qualification services to laboratories nationally and worldwide. Operating as two divisions, Overbrook Scientific, Inc. and Overbrook Support Services, the company focuses on new technology instrumentation sales and multi-platform contract maintenance and compliance services.
Accountabilities: Execution of sales strategies, initiate contact with potential customers, maintain key accounts, identify needs and sell appropriate instruments and services.
The ideal candidate must have:
* Strong sales and negotiating skills.
* A proven track record in closing sales.
* Experience in selling to independently owned companies as well as large single and multiple facility corporations.
* Previous experience selling into the laboratory market, to purchasing agents, directors, laboratory managers, CFOs and CEOs.
* A strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation and the ability to prioritize and organize workload.
Candidate must also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. A background in life sciences industry is required. The position requires both inside and outside sales.
Compensation commensurate with experience includes base and commission.
