Laboratory Administrative Support Specialist
Overbrook Scientific, Inc. is seeking a highly organized Office Support Specialist to work in a high energy, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment on a part-time basis with a potential for full time employment.

The ideal candidate must be able to assist in:

  • Operations & Logistics Department in following tight installation schedules and deadlines without becoming overwhelmed
  • Mmanaging inventory and cost accounting of warehoused assets
  • Maintaining site preparation, installation and warranty documentation
  • Parts ordering, and evaluations without becoming bogged down with the details

The ideal candidate must be creative and flexible, with the ability to work independently, keep on top of numerous details and manage the flow of information through sophisticated database and CRM system. We need someone who is able to maximize resources as well as time. The ability to switch priorities at a moment's notice without becoming rattled is critical. We need a no nonsense individual who is efficient yet also a pleasure to be around.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite are essential.  You need to be a critical thinker who is very process-driven and who follows through on tasks quickly with little or no errors. A background in the laboratory or life sciences industry is required as well as a general knowledge of analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, MS, etc. .

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
